William "Pete" Edward Foster, 91, of Washington, Va., died on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Hawksbill Assisted Living.
He was born on Jan. 31, 1930, in Washington, Va., and was a son of the late Spencer Edward Foster and Sadie Mary Smoot Foster.
Mr. Foster had worked in the maintenance department for the Virginia Department of Transportation and was a veteran of the United States Army.
His wife, Annie Virginia Marsh Foster, preceded him in death.
He is survived by a brother, Roger Foster of Washington, Va. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Thomas and George Henry Foster.
