Walter Lee Wilson

Walter Lee Wilson, 74, of Luray, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023.

He was born on December 11, 1948, in Arlington, Virginia, and was the son of the late William Howard Wilson and Mary Frances Ring Wilson Carrico.

Walter was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War. He later was employed by the Department of Defense as a computer analyst.

He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Nicole Mazoni of Chicago, Illinois; a son, William Joseph Wilson of Luray, Virginia; a sister, Susan Smith of Jefferson, Georgia; three brothers, Henry Eston Carrico of Luray, and Steven Thomas Wilson and James Morgan Wilson, both of Gloucester, Virginia; and five grandchildren, Rhiannon Jade Pearson, and Adam Manaf, Farrah Manaf, Evan Manaf and Elana Manaf Mazoni of Chicago, IIllinois.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial is tentatively scheduled at Arlington National Cemetery.
