Thelma Blainde Williams

Thelma Blainde Williams 99 formaly of Blainsville Rd Luray VA Died Thursday, October  8, 2020 at home in Washington, DC.  She was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1921, in Edgefield, SC  Daughter of the Late  Arthur  and Rose Bell (Collins) Williams.  Thelma retired from the federal Government after 20 years as a Custodian and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Washington DC.  She is survived by a Daughter-Doris (Williams) Smith of Fort Washington, MD and she raised two Nieces Barbara J McEubanks of District Heights, Md. and Sharon Hill of Washington, D.C. and has 1 Grandchild and 1 Great Grandchild.  

A Wake will be at the Blainesville  Mt. Carmel  Baptist Luray VA Saturday, October 17, 2020  from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM with Funeral Service at 11:00AmM 

She will be Laid to rest beside her Fiance Sylvester Good at the Blainesville Cemetery, in Luray, VA

She was also preceded in Death by: Fiance-Sylvester Edward Good, Niece who she Raised-Caroline Broadus, four Brothers Melvin Williams, John B Williams, Purvis Williams, Thurmon Williams Four Sister-Ella Mae Wright, Parie Lee Lott, Verda Crowder, Dorothy Williams, and 1 Grandchild,
