Teresa Ann (Jones) Burton

Teresa Ann Burton, 56, of Stanley, died on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born on March 2, 1964, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Earsell “Barney” Jones and Edna Belle Jenkins Jones.

Mrs. Burton had worked for MontVue Nursing Home in Luray for 10 years in the housekeeping department.

On July 9, 1983, she married Randall Todd Burton, who died on Aug. 28, 2006.

She is survived by a daughter, Ashley Burton of Shenandoah; a son, Dylan Burton of Stanley; and a sister, Clara Jones of Stanley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Steve” Jones.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 24, at the Bethlehem Independent Christian Church by Pastor Andy Seastrom and the Rev. Ray Berry. Burial will be private at Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
