Tanya Marie McAllister

Tanya Marie McAllister, 32, of Stanley, died on Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

She was born on May 19, 1987, in Charlottesville and was a daughter of Michael McAllister and Linda Lam Ramey, both of Stanley.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her stepfather, Mike Ramey of Stanley; her stepmother, Tracy McAllister of Stanley; a daughter, Gracie Williams of Stanley; two brothers, Michael McAllister and Darrick Ramey, both of Stanley; two sisters, Destiny McAllister and Hannah Ramey, both of Stanley; and her grandmothers, Doris McAllister and and Anna Lam, both of Stanley.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church by Jeff Lucas. Burial will be in the McCoy Family Cemetery in Stanley.

The family was to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the church.
