Shirley Kurtenbach Obituary

Shirley Elizabeth Kurtenbach, 65, of Luray, died on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on March 17, 1955, in Leesburg and was a daughter of the late Samuel Combs and Leoda Smith Combs.

Her husband, Stephen Kurtenbach, died on Sept. 22, 2014.

She is survived by two daughters, Samantha Davis of Luray, and Verlisa Kurtenbach of Castleton; a son, Christopher Kurtenbach of Warrenton; two brothers, David and Thomas Combs; four sisters, Violet Smith, Betty Sexton, Connie Sexton and Barbara Lang; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Oliver.

Services are planned for a later date.
