Shirley Boyd Obituary

Shirley Louise Boyd, 84, of Luray, died on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at Accordius Health in Harrisonburg.

She was born on Oct. 6, 1935, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Avis Seekford and Annie Louise Kibler Seekford.

Mrs. Boyd worked as a seamstress at Wrangler for 13 years.

Her husband, Robert Perry Boyd, died on Nov. 13, 1989.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth A. Boyd of Stanley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Seekford Sr.; and a sister, Jeanette Tiller.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Sarah Galindo.
