Robert Lynn “Pretty” Williams, 78, of Luray, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
He was born on March 4, 1941, in Luray and was a son of the late Eugene Williams and Frances Lee Bolen Williams.
Mr. Williams retired as a self-employed painter and was a member of the Luray Moose Lodge.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Patsy Ann Fristoe Williams, are a son, Eugene Williams of Stanley; three daughters, Melinda “Missy” Sours and Frances Kibler, both of Luray, and Betty Kibler of Stanley; a sister, Barbara Wood of Luray; James “J.R.” Cubbage of Luray, whom he raised; 12 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Williams; and four sisters, Betty Sours, Flora Jean Housden, Martha Cubbage and Dorothy Wood.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 14, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Nicholson, with a reception from 4-6 p.m. at the Luray Moose Lodge. Burial will be in the Morning Star Cemetery in Luray.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the funeral home.
