Robert Lockhart Obituary

Robert L. Lockhart (Bobby) 97, of Luray, Virginia died August 6, 2022.
Bobby was born May 16, 1925 in Bentonville, VA and was the son of the late Vergie & Clarence
Lockhart.
He is predeceased by his wife Mary Ann Lockhart; siblings: Giles, Howard, Clara, Stevie &
Clarence; and two sons: Billy & Robert (Jim or Alfie).
Survived by his daughters Robin Jones (Gordon) of Saluda, VA and Barbara Lester of Edinburg,
VA and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bobby was a proud WWII veteran who served on the USS Massachusetts. He loved gardening
and as a younger man was a decorated duck pin bowler. He leaves behind many architectural
monuments to his life as he was an accomplished and sought-after brick and stone mason.
