Patsy Ann (Combs) Bumgardner

Patsy Ann Bumgardner, 71, of Luray, died on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 26, 1948, in Harrisonburg and was a daughter of the late Marvin Dow Combs and Mandy Jane Shoemaker Combs.

Mrs. Bumgardner had worked as a vet tech for Dr. Kay in New Market for eight years before working as a food inspector for the USDA for eight years.

On Aug. 3, 1991, she married Pat Bumgardner, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Wendy L. Greenawalt of Broadway; a son, Christopher T. King of Elkton; two brothers, Dennis Combs of Churchville, and Rodney Combs of Broadway; a sister, Terry Puffenbarger of Linville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Combs.
