Mozella Ressie (Meadows) Jewell
Obituary
Mozella Ressie Jewell, 93, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. She was born on May 25, 1929, in Shenandoah.
Mozella worked as a waitress at the Mimslyn Inn for 30 years.
On June 12, 1948, she married Oliver Junior Jewell, who died on January 26, 1967.
She is survived by a son, Gwynne Jewell of Luray; a sister, Delma Meadows of Elkton; three brothers, Curtis Watson of Elkton, Ervin Watson of Grottoes, and Wayne Watson of Tennessee; a grandson, Chris Jewell and wife Angie of Luray; and a great-granddaughter, Avery Jewell of Luray. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ivena Eppard; and a brother, Lynwood Watson.
A Private Service will be conducted at the Morning Star Cemetery in Luray by the Rev. Erich Bennett.
