Kenneth Steeber

Kenneth Steeber, 86, of Luray, died on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.

He was born on Sept. 10, 1932, and was a son of the late Frank Steeber and Minnie Weirsing Steeber.

Mr. Steeber worked as a manager at Merck for 37 years and was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.

On Aug. 16, 1952, he married Virginia Steeber, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Kenneth Steeber of Luray, Mark Steeber of Knightdale, N.C., and Eric Steeber of Milltown, N.J.; a daughter, Kathleen Krepps of Broadway; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Frank Steeber; and a sister, Mildred Prehodka.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Stanley.
