Kemper Edward “Buster” Campbell, 57, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019.
He was born on April 1, 1962, in Luray and was a son of the late Allen Able Campbell and Florence Emily Campbell.
Buster owned and operated C&C Landscaping for 25 years and was a member of the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church.
On July 1, 1994, he married Patricia “Patti” Campbell, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Ricky Allen Campbell and wife Kristen, and Michael Vincent Campbell and wife Ashley, all of Stanley; a daughter, Holly Dawn Foltz and husband Jeremy of Luray; three sisters, Janet McCoy, Kathy Dean and Robin “Sue” Samuels, all of Stanley; two brothers, Keith “Doobie” Samuels of Colonial Beach, and Brian Samuels of Luray; six grandchildren, Brooklyn Campbell, Ricky Campbell, Carly Cubbage, Kinsley Cubbage, Kighleah Bailey and Tucker Foltz; and seven nieces and nephews, Emily Basnight, Monica Gray, David Dean, Anthony McCoy, Derick Dean, Reggie Gray and Allen Basnight. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Drema Gray and Cynthia “Porky” Basnight; and a brother, Ricky Campbell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, at the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church by Pastor Randy Miller. Burial will be in the Calvary Independent Brethren Cemetery in Stanley.
On Wednesday, his body was taken to 2033 Dovel Hollow Road, where the family will receive friends until Friday morning.
