Jerry Lee Henry

Jerry Lee Henry, 76, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

He was born on April 7, 1946, in Luray and was a son of the late Amos Luther Henry and Annie Muriel Fox Henry.

Jerry worked in maintenance for Shenandoah National Park for 42 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

On Nov. 7, 1970, he married Shirley Lou Breeden Henry, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Keith Henry of Shenandoah, and Shad Henry and wife Lara of Stanley; a brother, Douglas A. Henry and wife Sharon of Luray; and one granddaughter, Emilea Henry of Stanley.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, at the Morning Star Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jeffrey D. Marble and Garland “Bubba” Gochenour. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
