Twins Harley Ryan Bowman and Hunter Chase Bowman, 21, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Harley and Hunter were born on Nov. 16, 2000, in Harrisonburg and were sons of Heather Bowman Lucas and Jonathan Wayne Lucas of Stanley.

Surviving in addition to their parents are a brother, Jonathan Tanner Lucas of Stanley; their grandparents, John and Louise Buzzanca, Kerry Bowman, Wanda Carney and George, and Terry Lucas and Cynthia Lucas; and two uncles, Gary Bowman and family, and Josh Bowman and family. The twins were preceded in death by their grandfather, Gary Bowman Sr.

Also surviving are Harley’s companion, Elise Comer of Stanley; and Hunter’s companion, Emily King of Luray.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, at the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church in Stanley by Pastor Jack Campbell.

The church will be open for visitation from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday.
