Henry Harmon Obituary

Henry St. Claire “Buck” Harmon, 82, of Luray, died on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab, where he had resided for the past nine years.

He was born on June 14, 1937, in Waynesboro and was a son of the late Earl O. Harmon and Lottie P. Childress Harmon.

Buck retired as a heavy equipment operator, having worked at a rocky quarry.

His wife, Stella Wood Harmon, died in 1995.

He is survived by two stepdaughters, Rhonda Wood of Manassas, and Brenda Peake of Virginia; a stepson, Steve Wood of Virginia; and two sisters, Jean Fitzgerald of Waynesboro, and Roberta Goode of Virginia. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and William Allen Harmon; and a sister, Delorse Reade.
