Harry Richard Courtney, 78, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020.

He was born on Aug. 21, 1941, in Stanley and was a son of the late Harry David Courtney and Mamie Mae Dovel Courtney.

Harry retired from Wrangler in 2004, with 12 years of service as a custodian.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 56 years, Anna Mae Fristoe Courtney, are a daughter, Lisa F. Courtney Brown and husband Phillip of Stanley; a grandson, Corey Brown and wife Tina of Irwin, Pa.; and two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Madelyn Brown.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stanley Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 126, Stanley, Va. 22851.
