Gladys Marie (Heiston) Taylor

Gladys Marie Taylor, 94, of Accokeek, Md., died on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Md.

She was born on April 13, 1925, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Dillard V. Heiston Jr. and Delilah B. Moyer Heiston.

Her husband, William Edgar Taylor, died on Nov. 5, 1994.

She is survived by a daughter, Gloria Jean Peterson of LaPlata, Md.; three sons, Kenneth Taylor of Kempner, Texas, Robert Taylor of Accokeek, Md., and William E. Taylor of Gold Canyon, Ariz.; a sister, Betty Canady of Jacksonville, N.C.; ; 14 grandchildren; and  21 great-grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by Seven brothers, Robert Wayne, Albert, Dillard V., James, Virgil,  John and Roy Heiston and Four sisters, Vallie Hidrobo, Louise Taylor, Rachel Ellis andRay Heiston.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, at the Bradley Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
