George I. Roberts Jr.
George Irvin Roberts Jr., 72, of Stanley, died on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019.
He was born on July 30, 1947, in Easton, Pa., and was a son of the late George Irvin Roberts Sr. and Doris VosBorgh Roberts.
On Dec. 31, 1978, he married Carolyn Sue Lucas Roberts, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are five sons, Eric and Chris Roberts, both of Pennsylvania, Shane and Scott Roberts, both of North Dakota, and David Shaffer of Richmond; two daughters, Deanna Killian of Elkton, and Tammy Danchanko of Frederick, Md.; a sister, Carol Dibilo of Florida; two brothers, Kerry Roberts of Texas, and Shawn Roberts of Pennsylvania; a stepsister, Beverly Russell of Pennsylvania; two stepbrothers, Bobby and Harry Trinkley, both of Pennsylvania; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Holbrook; and his stepmother, Delores Roberts.
