Gary Lee Mayes 80 of Luray, VA, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray. He was born August 18, 1942, son of the late Vernon Maxwell and Florence Irene (Barnes) Mayes. On March 20 1971 he Married to Thelma Aurora (Lemus) who died Jan 9, 2015. He is survived by Son-Zane Mayes of Luray, Va. Daughter-Leslie (Mayes) Bailey of Nashville, Tenn. Brother in law who he helped raise Carlos Ruiz of Luray, Va. three Grandchilden -Nicholas Mayes, Jasmine Ruiz and Daniella Perez. and two sisters Teresa Jean Holmes and Linda Lou Smith and two brothers Dennis Clay Weaver and Ronald Eugene Weaver
