Frances Faye (Dunlap) Aleshire

Frances Faye Aleshire, 72, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Center of Acute Hospice Care in Charlottesville.

She was born on February 14, 1952, in Page County and was a daughter of the late Nelson Foltz and Martha Level Foltz.

On March 10, 1968, Frances married Allen Wayne Aleshire, who died on September 6, 2022.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Aleshire of Luray; three sisters, Sue Ann Foltz of Shenandoah, Debbie Good of Stanley, and Lisa Foltz of Luray; three brothers, David Foltz, Pete Foltz and James Dunlap, all of Luray; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Foltz and Greg "Moon" Foltz; and a sister, Linda Cubbage.

A celebration of life service will be conducted from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at the Luray VFW Post 621.
