Elwood Manuel “Joe” Huffman, 82, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020.
He was born on Nov. 5, 1937, in Rileyville and was a son of the late Jesse Huffman and Mable Manuel Huffman.
Elwood was a technical sergeant with the United States Air Force for 23 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Foster and companion Abe Jenkins of Luray; three grandchildren, Ashley Beamish, Emilee Beamish and Bryce Jenkins, all of Luray; and a great-granddaughter, Raeleigh Kirtley of Luray. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Huffman; and two brothers, Waitus L. Huffman Sr. and Donald Huffman.
