Elizabeth “Cookie” Campbell McCoy, 74, of Stanley, died on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, at Hospice of the Piedmont.
She was born on Sept. 12, 1945, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late William Cody Cook and Lucy Dodson Cook.
Mrs. McCoy was a member of the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church.
In September 1964, she married Robert Dewayne Campbell, who died on July 16, 1993. On Dec. 24, 1994, she married John Paul McCoy, who died on Jan. 3, 2010.
She is survived by a son, James David Campbell of Stanley; a brother, David Lee Cook of Luray; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Cook.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Stanley Baptist Church.
