Edward E. Manspeaker passed away quietly at home in Luray, Virginia, on Monday, January 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife, Barbara Manspeaker, and his devoted daughter, Lisa
Seeders. Edward was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on May 26, 1933, the son of William and Irene Manspeaker. He married his wife, Barbara Dashiell, in Hagerstown, in 1953, subsequently living in Hagerstown, Los Angeles, California, and Silver Spring, Maryland. Edward was a retired architect who had worked in the Washington, DC area, designing many different types of
buildings, ranging from high rise apartments, to schools, private homes and churches. He and Barbara moved to Luray, Virginia in 1995, built their new home and became members of the
Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his brother, Leon Manspeaker, his daughter Lisa Seeders, his son, Terry
Manspeaker, his 5 grandchildren, and his 7 great-grandchildren. A service of remembrance celebrating Edward’s life will be conducted at Stanley Seventh-day
Adventist Church on February 18, 2023, at 3:00.
