Carroll "Donnie" Shenk Obituary
Carroll Donovan “Donnie” Shenk, 79, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born on May 23, 1939, in Luray and was a son of the late Lawrence Lynwood Shenk and Estell Elizabeth Graves Shenk Painter.
Carroll is survived by his sister, Sarah Elizabeth Bartley and husband Wayne of Grottoes; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, James Painter; a sister, Barbara Shenk; and two brothers, Joseph and Larry Shenk.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Stanley Volunteer Fire Dept. on March 31, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
