Carl Granville Vogelmann Jr.

Carl Granville Vogelmann Jr., 72, of Luray, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 23, 2022, leaving behind his wife, Iris Vogelmann, daughter Stephanie Mcvearry and husband Brian, grandchildren Lyndsey and Dylan, and a sister, Janice Hanscome.
He was born on March 27, 1950, in New Jersey and was a son of the late Carl Granville Vogelmann Sr. and Dorothy Lucas Vogelmann. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Knipping.
Carl was a hardworking man all his life, owned a construction company, and retired from Luray Caverns after 11 years.
Carl loved Luray and his heart truly belonged here. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 29, at Carl's home, 239 Mountain Run Road, Luray.
