Barbara Ann Hilliards

Barbara Ann Hilliards, 75, of Luray, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born on February 20, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Blackwell Haley Sr. and Hilda B. Knight.

On April 20, 1964, Barbara married Roy Gene Hilliards, and spent 48 wonderful years together. 

She is survived by four daughters, Teresa Ann Caviness (Brian), Lori Ann Woychak (Tommy), Cathy Jean Hilliards (Jason), and Peggy Jean Weaver; a son, Roy "Buck" Hilliards Jr.; nine grandchildren, Kenny and Josh Grimsley, Derek and Christina Caviness, Cliff Thomas, Alyssa and Leah Weaver, Kim Fields, and Brittney Hilliards; and five great-grandchildren, Emma and Aaliyah Grimsley, Tucker and Sadie Thomas, and Callan Mullins.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Gene Hilliards; her stepfather, Randolph Marshall Knight; and her brother, Benjamin B. Haley Jr. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, at the Calvary Independent Brethren Church in Stanley by Pastor Charles Turner and Doug Gochenour, along with Andy Caviness. Burial will be in the church cemetery. 

Visitation with the family will be Monday, December 18, from 6-8 p.m., also at the church.
