Allen Housden Obituary

Allen Tracy Housden, 75, of Stanley, died on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 17, 1944, in Stanley and was a son of the late Dewey Carson Housden and Brownie Lucas Housden. On Aug. 31, 1968, he married Bonita Marie Aldridge Housden, who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Jason Housden of Stanley, and Jeremy Housden of Mount Solon; a brother, Brian Housden of Stanley; a sister, Sharon Housden of Stanley; two grandchildren; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Gray. A private service is planned for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leake's Chapel Church of the Brethren, Stanley, Va. 22851.
