Alden "Salty" Sours Obituary

Alden Monroe “Salty” Sours, 83, of Stanley, died on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born on Nov. 21, 1935, and was a son of the late Clyde Sours and Minnie Good Sours.

Mr. Sours was employed with ABF Trucking, retiring in 2001.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Ethel Valley Miller Sours, are a daughter, Barbara Ann Jenkins of Luray; two sons, Ronnie and Jerry Sours, both of Stanley; one sister, Elva Mae Housden of Shenandoah; one brother, Clyde Sours Jr. of Elkton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
