Sandra Kay (Lowery) Hilliards

Sandra Kay Hilliard, 68, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 8, 1950, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Alton Lowery Sr. and Juanita Lucas Lowery.

Sandra was a member of the Leake's Chapel Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela Hilliard and husband Kevin Painter of Stanley; a brother, Alton “Dink” Lowery Jr. and wife Brenda of Stanley; a sister, Wanda Spain of Stanley; and two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Painter and Savannah Painter, both of Stanley. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jane Miller.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the Leake's Chapel Church of the Brethren by Pastor Jodie Hendricks and Pastor Donnie Lam. Burial will be in the Stanley Advent Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 29, at the church.
