Doris Ann (Rowe) Talley

Doris Ann Talley, 87, of Luray, died on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born on June 16, 1931, in Luray and was a daughter of the late John William Rowe and Thelma Mae Fox Rowe.

Mrs. Talley worked as an administrator for Loudoun County Public Schools for 29 years. She was a graduate of Luray High School, Class of 1948, and a member of the Beth Eden Lutheran Church.

On Dec. 13, 1958, she married Glenn Custer Talley, who died on Jan. 29, 1988.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Scott Talley of Fairfax, and Jeffrey Kent Talley of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; a daughter, Denise Lynne Bolton of Lorton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m.on Saturday, May 18, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by the Rev. Jeffrey D. Marble.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, May 17, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
