Zada Janet (Judd) Miller

Zada Janet Miller, 92, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born on May 5, 1934, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Samuel Henry Judd and Mamie Jenkins Judd.

Zada enjoyed her career working in the Page County Court System for 42 years. 

After retirement, she traveled extensively, loving life and the good times with family and friends. She adored her canine companions, Patches and Gabby, and loved spoiling them.

On May 27, 1989, she married Thomas H. Tear, who preceded her in death.

Zada is survived by her sister, Louise Vaughn; her daughter-in-law, Denica Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Zada was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Allen Miller.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor John Boyd. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
