Yvonne "Bonnie" Marie (Freeze) May

Yvonne Marie “Bonnie” May, 80, of Luray, died on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.

Ms. May was born on Jan. 4, 1941, in Page County and was a daughter of the late Levi Dallas and Edith Mae Turner Dallas.

She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Knight and Lisa Pumphrey, both of Luray; two sons, David May of Luray, and Daniel May of South Carolina; six sisters, Carolyn Sue Foster of Stanley, Juanita Breeden and Phyllis Meadows, both of Elkton, Deborah Marcus of South Carolina, and Dixie Presgraves and Rosemary Presgraves, both of Luray; two brothers, Jeffrey and Randolph Dallas, both of Luray; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Joyce Whiteside, Barbara Good and Diana Dallas; and one brother, Freddie Dallas.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Riverview Independent Gospel Church by Pastor Jeff Lucas, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Stanley.
