William "Ronnie" Short

William Ronald "Ronnie" Short, 79, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

He was born on September 15, 1945, in Luray and was a son of the late William Dorsey Short and Iva Mae Petefish Short.

Ronnie had worked at Fisher Auto Parts as manager.

He is survived by a sister, Doris Ann Fox of Luray; and three nieces, Cheryl Renee Grandstaff, Terry Ann Goode and Pam Fox Nichols, all of Luray. 

A private graveside service will be conducted at the Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley by Pastor Mike Nichols.
