Wanda G. (Hilliard) Hoak

Wanda G. Hoak, 90, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

She was born on December 31, 1932, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late James Cephas Hilliard and Louise Virginia Stroupe Hilliard.

Wanda was a member of the Page Valley Baptist Church.

On October 17, 1951, she married William Martin Gander, who died on August 25, 1974.

On December 10, 1977, Wanda married Donald Leon Hoak, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Judy Yowell of Luray; a son, Larry Martin Gander of Luray; two brothers, James C. Hilliard Jr. and Kenneth D. Hilliard, both of Stanley; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Allan Hilliard; and a granddaughter, Kayla Gander.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Brian Hasse.
