Wanda Sue (Lucas) Cubbage

Wanda Sue Cubbage, 73, of Rileyville, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

She was born on February 17, 1952, in Luray and was the daughter of the late Raymond Lester Lucas and Geneva Dorothy Buracker Lucas.

On December 25, 1974, Wanda married Jarriet Edward Cubbage, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Jarriet Edward Cubbage Jr. of Luray, and Curtis Cubbage and companion Tamara Middleton of Rileyville; a daughter, Daisy Jones and husband Rodney of Stanley; three sisters, Kay Atwood of Luray, and Barbara Ann Good and Wilma Jean Lucas, both of Stanley; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Presgraves; and two brothers, Ricky Allen Lucas and Donnie Allen Lucas.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Tuesday, April 8, at the Bradley Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, at the Compton Old Country Church of Jesus Christ by Pastor David Frazier. Burial will be in the Rileyville Cemetery.
