Wanda Hope Barrett, 90, of Alexandria, died on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at RoseWood Village and Town Center in Charlottesville.
She was born on Sept. 4, 1930, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Edgar Lynn Mauck and Emma Daisy Painter Mauck.
Mrs. Barrett was a member of the Page United Methodist Church.
On Sept. 4, 1949, she married Lewis A. Barrett, who died on Dec. 18, 2016.
She is survived by two sons, Lewis M. Barrett of Woodbridge, and Kent Barrett of Madison, a daughter, Susanne Bertrand of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a brother, Preston Lynn Mauck of Charlottesville. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Barrett; and a sister, Patricia Ann Pflugshaupt.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Laura Stratton, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
Due to COVID-19, facial coverings and social distancing restrictions will be followed.
