Virginia Cody, 85, of Quicksburg, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025.
She was born on May 11, 1940, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Casper Broyles and Edith Seal Broyles.
Virginia loved the Lord very much. She enjoyed dancing and lived life to the fullest, always making jokes and laughing.
In June 1976, Virginia married Hollis Ray Cody, who survives.
In addition to her husband, Virginia is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Valdespino and Patricia Guevara; one sister, Frances Weaver; seven grandchildren, Michelle Dawn, Charles Allen Good Jr., Casey Brubaker, Chris Guevara, Erika Strazzella, Selena Escorza, and Joel Casto; eight great-grandchildren, Charles Good III, Emma Rose Good, Jace Guevara, Gabino Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez, Paislee Guevara, Ella Mae Guevara, and Samira Mae Morsy; and one great-great-grandchild, Elizabeth Marie Good. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Wayne Broyles; a brother, Lewis Casper Broyles; and three sisters, Anna Elizabeth Cody, Gladys Marie Jenkins and Ruby Campbell.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the American Legion Post 22 in Luray.
