Thomas P. Blanche 
Thomas Patrick Blanche, 74, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, at Page Memorial Hospital. 
He was born on July 16, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pa., and was a son of the late John Blanche and Dorothy Clark Blanche. 
Thomas was a police officer for the City of Philadelphia for 22 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Luray. On Oct. 11, 1980, he married Cheryl Cherrywell Blanche, who survives. 
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Christina Malonis and husband Mark of Charleston, S.C.; a son, Shaun Blanche and wife Charity of Elkton; two brothers, William Blanche of Blackwood, Pa., and James Blanche of Troutville; a sister, Nancy Mansi of Havertown, Pa.; nine grandchildren, Madisen, Jake, Luke, Makayla, Abigail, Chloe, Shaunna, Alvina and Declin; and one great-grandchild, Rodney. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Blanche Jr.
Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church by Father Edwin Perez. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray. 
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the Bradley Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Page Free Clinic in Tom's memory.
