Terry Brendt Bolyard

Terry Brendt Bolyard, age 73 of Stanley, VA passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at LifePath Hospice in Tampa, FL. He was born on August 31, 1946, in Grafton, WV to the late Dorsey Bolyard and Alice Bolyard. He was a graduate of Flemington High School Class of 1964. He was a general contractor for over 50 years.  He was passionate about mission work and was an ordained minister.  He was a member of Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church in Stanley, VA.  On September 13, 1969 he was married to Irene Dovel who preceded him in death on July 2, 2008. A few years later he married Elizabeth (Vaughn) Cubbage on October 10, 2010 who survives him.  He is also survived by his children Heather and Marcus Dasilva of Ashburn, VA, Keith and Jackie Bolyard of Stanley, VA, Kenneth and Jodi Bolyard of Stanley, VA, Tara and Jason Dorough of Haltom City, TX, Lori and Kerry Painter of Stanley, VA, Harrison and Robin Cubbage, II of Shenandoah, VA,  Crystal and Keith Shenk of Stanley, VA,  Amy Cubbage and Tina Propst of Broadway, VA.  His siblings are Sharon Vodraska, Cindy Fazzini, Lisa Hays, Pam Hotsinpiller, Garland Dovel and Tim Bolyard. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by daughter Wendy Shafer.  A funeral service will be held at Leake's Chapel Church of Brethren on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Private burial for immediate family only will follow in the church cemetery.  Meal will be provided immediately following the service in the church social hall.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Terry Brendt Bolyard Memorial Mission Fund, 5074 Farmview Road, Stanley, VA 22851.   You are welcome to meet with the family on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 1-3 at the Bolyard residence at 252 Wampler Drive, Stanley, VA.
