Susan Ann (Higgs) St. Clair

Susan Ann St. Clair, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

She was born on March 6, 1955, in Rockingham County. She was a daughter of the late Lee Franklin Higgs and Thelma Marie Lester Higgs.

On December 31, 1993, she married Harry Edgar St. Clair Sr.

Susan was an avid member of the her community. She sold papers for the Page News and Courier for many years. She also enjoyed helping out friends and family with anything they needed. She was loving, compassionate and completely selfless. There will never be another person like Susan.

She is survived by a daughter, Lily Atkins, and son-in-law Ray Atkins III of Luray; a grandson, Ray Atkins IV of Luray; four sisters, Phoebe E. Morris, Vista Tucker and Tina Price, all of Luray, and Beatrice Price of Gettysburg, Pa.; a brother, Johnny Higgs of Stanley; three stepsons, Harry St. Clair Jr. and Darren St. Clair, both of Luray, and Brian St. Clair of Shenandoah; and a stepdaughter, Laurie Hensley of Elkton. She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Gale V. Good Higgs; and her husband, Harry Edgar St. Clair Sr.
