Solomon Earl Bruce Jr., 91, of Luray, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023.
Known as Billy Bruce by family and friends, he was born on August 9, 1931, in Sperryville and was a son of the late Solomon E. Bruce Sr. and Gertrude Rutherford Bruce.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Bruce, and a son, Ted Bruce. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Edna Fox.
