Sandra Jean (Cook) White

Sandra Jean White, 81, of Madison, died on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at Culpeper Regional Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 30, 1939, in Georgia and was a daughter of the late Homer Ben Cook and Marie Simmonds Brown.

She is survived by three daughters, Geneva Misty Sedmock of Luray, Darlene Suckfiel of Dale City, and Melissa Papajohn of West Virginia; a son, Donald Alsobrook of Florida; a sister, Mary Ellen Lockard of Florida; two brothers, Richard and Dennis Brown, both of Florida; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William Roland White; a son, Douglas Alsobrook Jr.; and a brother, James Cook.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
