Samuel Lee Cave

Samuel Lee Cave, 72, of Luray, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026.

He was born on March 23, 1953, in Alexandria, VA, and was a son of the late Samuel Stoneberger and Dorothy Marie Cave.

Samuel worked in the maintenance department for the Luray Caverns Corporation for 55 years.

On September 27, 2018, he married Pamala Ann Gochenour Cave, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Samuel is survived by five daughters, Lisa Ann Tappy, Christina May Good, Cassandra Fay Bolyard, Samantha Elizabeth Marie Good and Shannon Rae Cave, all of Luray; a stepson, Robby McCoy of Luray; four sisters, Karen Smith of Arizona, Diana Atkins of Culpeper, Barbara Meehan of Luray, and Stacy Stoneberger of Grottoes; and 13 grandchildren, Ashley Tappy, Brittany Tappy, Rickie Tappy III, Nevaeh Good, Savannah Bolyard, Sydney Bolyard, Sierra Bolyard, Chet Bolyard, Ember Good, Andrew Wilganaski, Rebecca McCoy, Abby McCoy and Nate McCoy. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Farrah Ann McCoy; a brother, Douglas Cave; and a sister, Patsy Ann Viands.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Thursday, February 19, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
