Russell Valentine Fuller Sr.

Russell Valentine Fuller Sr., 60, of Stanley, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1962, in Rutland, Vt., and was a son of the late Glenn Russell Fuller Sr. and the late Janita Pauline Perizo Fuller.

Mr. Fuller was a veteran of the United States Navy.

On May 26, 1983, he married Lana Gray Fuller, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his father and his wife are two daughters, Ashley Fuller and Misty Barbee, both of Stanley; a son, Russell Fuller Jr. of Luray; a sister, Barbara Ratty of Nashua, N.H.; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janita Shortridge; a sister, Janita Day; and two brothers, Aaron S. and Glenn Fuller Jr.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, at the Fuller residence, 1097 Aylor Grubbs Ave., Stanley. Burial will be private.
