Obituary

Ruby Helen Good, 80, of Stanley, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. 

She was born on April 11, 1942, in Wolftown and was a daughter of the late Elton Berry and Virginia McDaniel Berry. 

Ruby worked at Wrangler for 41 years. 

On July 4, 1959, she married Alvin Good, who survives. 

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Elaine Weakley of Stanley; a sister, Joyce Wright of Shenandoah; a brother, Alfred “Sonny” Berry of Reva; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Long, Margie Weaver and Mary Shifflett; and two brothers, Charles “Buzz” Weaver and Hermon Weaver Jr., and one Son in Law George "Frank" Weakley. 

A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, at the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church by Pastor Earl Painter, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 5-6 p.m. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
