Obituary
Ronald Eugene Cook, 68, of Luray, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He was born on Jan. 18, 1954, in Luray and was a son of the late Lloyd Shannon Cook and Catherine Silvious Cook.
Mr. Cook was a driver for Richard’s Bus Lines for 12 years.
On June 9, 1979, he married Sandra Ellis Cook, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Ronald E. Cook Jr. of Luray; a daughter, Michelle D. Cook of Shenandoah; six brothers, Bobby Joe, Ricky Lee and Stevie Allen Cook, all of Luray, Donald Cook of West Virginia, Danny Cook of New Market, and Roger Lee Cook of Shenandoah; two sisters, Brenda Cook and Peggy Cook, both of Luray; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Silvious.
