Ronald Lee Burner Sr., 86, of Luray, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on October 17, 1938, in Luray and was the son of the late Melvin K. Burner and Ruth Velvet Comer Burner.
Ronald held the rank of Sergeant First Class in the United States Army, with 20 years of service. He was a member of the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of Virginia Lafayette Lodge No. 137 AF&AM.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Ursula Tiefenbach Burner, are two sons, Ronald Lee Burner Jr. of Ohio, and Allen Lee Burner of Florida; a daughter, Peggy Ann Cubbage of Stanley; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Allen Burner; and a sister, Anna M. Griffith.
