Roger Leon Ray

Roger Leon Ray, 71, of New Market, VA, passed away on Sunday morning, November 23, 2025, at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born on December 28, 1953, in Harvey, Illinois, and was a son of the late Elizabeth Kyle Ray and Henry Ray.

Mr. Ray retired from Johns Manville after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Raynes Ray; a daughter, Lottie Tassone of Martinsburg, WV; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Cleveland (David) of Yorktown, VA; a stepson, Howard Mullins (Sarah) of Holly Springs, NC; a brother, Dale Ray of Shelbyville, TN; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Brian and Danny Ray; a brother, Larry Ray; and a sister, Sherry Randalls.

Mr. Ray's request was to be cremated, with no services. Friends may call at the home.
