Robin Baker Obituary

Robin Eric Baker, 64, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

He was born on October 21, 1961, in Luray and was a son of the late John "Buster" Baker and Mary Sue Good Baker.

Robin was a graduate of Page County High School, Class of 1980. He worked for Rose Roofing Company in Haymarket for 30 years. He currently worked for Greenwood Construction at the Merck plant in Elkton for the past seven years. He is a member of the Covenant Pentecostal Church in Elkton, where Travis Hensley serves as pastor.

Robin loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed anything outdoors, and was a hard worker.

On September 17, 1988, he married Tammy Conley Baker, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Robin is survived by two sons, Eric Baker and wife Cheyenne, and Ryan "Bob" Baker and wife Corrie, all of Stanley; a sister, Debbie Baker and companion David Comer of Elkton; three brothers-in-law, Dinky Conley and wife Missy of Elkton, and David Conley and wife Bethany, and Dennis Conley, all of Shenandoah; his cousin, Travis Good of Stanley, who was like a brother; five grandchildren, Daxton, Dreyden, Callie, Ryland and Damon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, October 27, at the Stanley Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be conducted at the church at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, by Evangelist Doug Gochenour, Pastor Travis Hensley and Pastor Bobby Wade. Burial will be in the Huffman Cemetery in Luray.
